Breitachklamm | Worth a visit at any time of year and in any weather. Explore the impressive Breitachklamm on your own or on a guided tour.
Bergschau | There are exciting things to discover at 4 stations of the Bergschau: In the old town hall of Oberstdorf, at the summit station on the Fellhorn at an altitude of 2037 metres, in the entrance area of the Breitachklamm gorge or in the Walserhaus. Topics are the history of the mountains, man and nature and the flora and fauna of the Allgäu Alps.
Mountain farmin village Gerstruben | Hike through the Trettach valley to the village of Dietersbach. From there, take the Gerstruber Steige (approx. 150 hm). A more demanding variant is the Hölltobelschucht. It is more comfortable to take the Marktbähnle (market train), which takes visitors to the historic village every Thursday. If you like, you can stop for a bite to eat or visit the museum in the Jakobehüs, which is open at certain times.
AndO-Art | Tangible art made of wood can be discovered at the Wooden Sculpture Gallery. Open during normal business hours.
Ski-Museum | The history of winter sports is impressively presented in the Ski Museum in the Audi Arena Oberstdorf.
Viehscheid | In Schöllang and in Oberstdorf, it's time for the local cows to "get off the mountain and back into the valley into their cosy stalls" every September. A great spectacle worth seeing with lots of entertainment, delicacies and regularly running shuttle buses.
